　　Air—“Nansie's to the greenwood gane.”

　　Farewell, thou stream that winding flows

　　Around Eliza's dwelling;

　　O mem'ry! spare the cruel thoes

　　Within my bosom swelling.

　　Condemn'd to drag a hopeless chain
