　　The first time I met with Overseas Education College (OEC) of Xiamen University was in the summer of 2008. I was a short-term student of her. The inculcation of the teachers, the friendship of the classmates, and the atmosphere of Caiqingjie building are all fond memories of my life.

　　The beautiful campus lingers on my mind years, but it's lucky that I came back, and more than that we have got a pretty Xiang'an campus. I can deeply enjoy the beautiful scenery and my interest all year around. My interest is communicating with students of language and getting to know about the different cultures. I like to research to reveal the unity and diversity of different languages, so as to get an efficient method to acquire or to teach foreign languages. OEC gives the platform.

　　OEC is a family with varied students and versatile staffs. We are amicable and hospitable. We are diligent and efficient. We make devotion and contribution to the development of the college. My interest is closely related to the aim of the college. Therefore, I feel pleasure and at ease to sit in my working room and to have lessons in the classroom.

　　To my delight, my favorite scholar Chao Yuanren has close relationship with our university. He was a typical person who combined his interest with his career. The school anthem he composed raises me up every day, reminding me to improve myself, to be excellent and to make dedication. 海外教育六十年
