　　The wide income gap has become a common phenomenon in current society. Ordinary workers can obtain ten times or a hundred times less income than the people who work in some privately-owned enterprises or foreign companies.

　　People hold different attitudes towards this phenomenon. Some of the people firmly believe that the wide income gap is beneficial to the development of economy because the gap can also cause the driving force. Put another way, the income gap can stimulate people to have the motivation to narrow the gap. However, other people think more of its unfavorable effect that it may threaten the social justice and may also cause the social unrest.

　　In my opinion, to some extent, the income gap indeed promotes the economic development while too wide an income gap can cause a series of problems as well. One of the troubles is that it can affect the social stability. Hence, we are indeed supposed to do something to promote the development of society and economy. Meanwhile, what is more important is setting policies to prevent the income gap from being wider.

　　收入差距悬殊在当今社会已经不再罕见。普通员工的工资可能比那些在私企或外企工作的人的工资少十倍甚至百倍。

　　人们对该现象看法不一。一些人坚定地认为收入差距悬殊对经济的发展是有益的，因为差距可以带来动力。换句话说，收入差距可以刺激人们有动力来缩小差距。然而另外的人考虑更多的是它带来的不利影响，可能会威胁到社会公平和社会稳定。
