　　Recently, whether universities should lower their entrance requirements for celebrities has been discussed heatedly.

　　Some of the people hold a negative attitude towards this phenomenon. Here are two factors they insist. Firstly, the education equality will be threatened if they get the admission to prestigious universities without an entry examination. Secondly, people think it will be insulting to higher education if the one who has no basic academic knowledge is admitted. On the contrary, other people hold a positive attitude towards it. They hold that people who have contributed to the society in some fields indeed deserve the prerogative.

　　I am more inclined to the latter. On the one hand, the celebrities concentrated on the training instead of learning when they were young, so it is completely unquestionable for them to be admitted to the famous college. On the other hand, they can also contribute much better to our country with more academic knowledge. In consequence, not the privilege they have but their contributions and spirit of struggling should be paid close attention to.

　　最近，大学能否为名人降低入学标准引发了一场热烈的讨论。

　　一些人持反对态度。他们坚持的原因有两点。第一，如果给这些名人提供免试入学的机会会威胁到教育公平。第二，如果这些没有学术基础知识的人被名牌大学录取，人们就会觉得侮辱了高等教育。相反，还有一些人支持这项政策。他们认为这些名人在其他领域为社会做了贡献，他们理应得到这个特权。
