　　In recent years there have been a number of violations of public morality including spiting everywhere or dropping litter in public places, running the red light and so on.

　　The first and foremost reason for the above behaviors is that these people lack personal cultivation and public spirit. They consider these behaviors as little things that actually made a bad impression on others. All those behaviors can not only disturb the social order but also do harm to themselves. Consequently, it is time to take measures to improve public morals.

　　In my opinion, education can have a good effect on improving public morals. It is no doubt that people who got a good education can comply with social morality. Furthermore, the government is supposed to introduce policies to ensure the implementation of measures.

　　最近这些年，出现了许多随口吐痰、公众场合乱扔垃圾、闯红灯等不文明行为。

　　他们这些人都是缺乏个人素质和社会公德的表现，他们认为这些都是无关紧要的小事，但却让他人心生厌恶。这些行为不仅破坏社会秩序，而且对他们自己也是一种伤害。因此，有必要采取一些措施来改善社会风气。
